I have been making handmade soap for about 10 years.

I am a full time railroad worker living in Westminster Colorado. I learned years ago that I am good at making things. I first learned how to brew beer after a friend bought me a beer making kit about 10 years ago. I took that a little too far and before I knew it I had way too much beer. After searching for other ways to use beer I found that I could make cold process soap using beer. For the past 10 years I have been experimenting with different recipes from all plant fat soaps, all animal fat soaps and a combination of the two. I really like the combination of the animal and plant fats with butters. With the combination I get a nice hard long lasting bar of soap with a creamy lather. Every bar is made from premium ingredients of organic grass-fed beef tallow, home-brewed beer, organic coconut oil, olive oil, sodium hydroxide, shea butter and castor oil. I use fragrance oils for most scents as they produce a more uniform scent. Every batch is naturally colored so the color may vary from batch to batch. I use the cold process method for making all my bar soaps. My soap is made in small batches of currently 18 bars per batch. The soap is then cured and dried for at least 8 weeks before packaging.

I do brew all the beer myself for making soap and have come up with a beer recipe that is great for making soap. The beer I use is low in alcohol and high in hops. I usually use a lighter colored beer for soaps that do not have exfoliants and a darker beer when using coffee as a exfoliant.

After years of making too much soap and giving it away to friends and family, I have decided to take their advice and start selling my soap. So my journey starts here. All soaps will be sold on Amazon Handmade and will be available for Amazon prime shipping. If you have any questions, suggestions or concerns, on a current product, on new scents and additives like exfoliants please send me a message using the contact form.

I hope you all enjoy my soaps as much as my friends and family do!

Thank You!

Chris
